Dr. Ronald Dubois of Culpeper, VA passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2018. He grew up in New Bedford, MA and developed an avid interest in science. He graduated from Bridgewater State College in MA with a BS in Chemistry. After an especially cold snowy Massachusetts winter, he moved to warm and tropical Hawaii to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He enjoyed teaching at Chaminade University where he transitioned into college administration.

In 1994, he moved with his family to Virginia. In 2001, he helped found NetTalon, Inc of Fredericksburg, Va. He worked there until his passing.

He continued to have a passion for all things science especially astrophotography and archeology. Recently he started learning to play the guitar. Ron also loved spending time with his favorite 4-legged family.
